KNOW WHAT YOUR VEHICLE NEEDS
A diagnostic code is a starting point, not a complete parts list. Share the symptoms, recent repairs and when the problem occurs. Diagnostic work helps connect that information with the vehicle’s condition and determine the next step.
Let us know whether the light is steady or flashing, and whether the car runs differently. Call to discuss an inspection and availability.
We diagnose engine sensor faults, including throttle position sensor (TPS) concerns, along with rough idle, hesitation and unusual running. A fault code alone does not prove a sensor needs replacement; testing helps identify whether the cause is the sensor, wiring or another component.
Once the cause has been identified, the required repair and parts can be discussed. Diagnostic work and repair work may involve separate charges.
We offer tune-ups and spark plug replacement based on your vehicle’s requirements, mileage and manufacturer’s maintenance schedule. The recommended work and price depend on the vehicle and condition. If your engine runs rough or has a check-engine light, diagnosis helps determine whether maintenance or a specific repair is needed.
Oil spots beneath the car, a falling engine-oil level or an oily engine can point to a leak. We inspect to locate the source before recommending repairs. Depending on the diagnosis, work may involve leaking gaskets, seals or other engine components. Call with your vehicle details and symptoms; an inspection is needed to identify the cause and provide a firm estimate.
PLANNING YOUR VISIT
Diagnostic cost depends on the concern and the testing required. Reading a code and identifying the cause of a fault are not the same service. Ask about the diagnostic charge when booking and confirm the repair estimate separately before authorizing work.

A scan provides fault-code information. Diagnosis may require additional checks to determine why the code appeared. Replacing a part based only on a code may not resolve the underlying concern.
Have the year, make, model and mileage ready. Tell us when the light appeared, whether it is steady or flashing, any recent repairs and changes in how the vehicle runs.
Yes. Describe when the rough idle occurs and whether you have noticed a warning light or other symptoms. Call to arrange an inspection; the cause cannot be confirmed from the symptom alone.
Yes, engine repair is available at the main shop. The scope, parts, cost and timing depend on the diagnosis and your vehicle.
